"Rumah Teduh" portrays a house designed with special attention to the relationship between the interior spaces and the surrounding greenery. Situated on a 200 m² plot in BSD, this house leverages the potential of the green space to the north by creating a transitional space in the form of a long corridor with a bench. This space functions as an extension of the living room, connecting the interior with the natural surroundings.
The concept of "a large canopy" is realized through the design of the second floor, which is almost entirely covered by a roof, with windows protruding out to capture views of the greenery. White and wooden tones dominate the interior, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. On the second floor, there is a terrace facing west, designed as a place to relax in the afternoon while enjoying the sunset amidst the tree branches.
