This house is located at the end of a residential street on a gated community in Jakarta, with only the front side of the building visible from the road. This setup creates an element of surprise, where the first impression is of a dark gray monolithic structure with narrow, continuous window slits encircling the façade. The atmosphere shifts upon entering the building, revealing a predominantly white interior accented with wood and black lines from the frames and railings. The space is bathed in natural light that filters through skylights, wooden slats above the staircase, and glass windows surrounding the rooms.

The floor plan is open and fluid, with a tall void that creates a different spatial experience, allowing activities on the ground and first floors to flow together. A bridge encircles the void, serving to separate the privacy of the master bedroom from the children’s bedrooms.
